A word puzzle for people who find daily puzzles too easy
The Word of the Week uses the same color rules as the Word of the Day — green, yellow and gray tiles — but the words are longer and harder. Expect rare letters like J, K, Q, X and Z, double letters, and patterns that don't give themselves away (think JUKEBOX, KUMQUAT or RHUBARB).
- 7 letters, 10 guesses — more room, but every guess still counts.
- One puzzle per week, the same for every player; it changes every Monday.
- No time limit. Take a guess, think it over, come back tomorrow — your progress is saved.
- Bigger reward: solving it pays more coins than the daily puzzle, and fewer guesses pay even more.
Strategy for 7-letter words
- Spend the first two guesses on coverage. Two words with 14 different letters reveal most of the alphabet's common letters.
- Think in chunks. Long words are built from familiar pieces: -ING, -ED, -ER, QU-, -OX. Once you see a yellow Q, the U is almost certainly next to it.
- Hunt rare letters deliberately. If the common letters are mostly gray, try a word with Z, X, J or K — one green rare letter often unlocks the whole word.
- Count the vowels. Most 7-letter words have two or three; if you've found only one, keep looking.

FAQ
When does the Word of the Week change?
Every Monday at 00:00 UTC. The game shows how much time is left on the home screen.
Which words can I guess?
Any real 7-letter English word. Plural forms and past tenses are allowed as guesses.
Is it harder than the Word of the Day?
Much — that's the point. Many players need six or more guesses. Don't break your streak on it: it doesn't count toward the daily streak.
Looking for something faster? A word duel takes about two minutes, and Draw & Guess is perfect for groups.
