A multiplayer word game for you and your friends
One link, up to ten players, the same hidden word for everyone. Works on any phone or computer — nobody needs to install anything or sign up.
Runs in your browser on phone or desktop. No download, no account needed.
How to start a game with friends
- Create a room. Tap Play with friends on the home screen.
- Share the link. Send it in any chat — WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, Slack or a text message. Friends join by just opening it; a short room code works too.
- Spin and play. When everyone is in, the host starts the round. The reels pick a theme, a word length and a mode, and the whole room races to the same word.
Rooms hold 2 to 10 players. After each round you see a leaderboard for the room — who solved it, in how many guesses and how fast — and the host can start a rematch with a new word right away.
Why it works so well for groups
- No accounts needed. Friends type a name and play. Perfect for people who'd never install an app for one game night.
- Short rounds. A round takes two to three minutes, so it fits into a break, a video call or the end of a class.
- Fair for mixed groups. Everyone gets the same word at the same moment, and the theme hint helps casual players keep up with word nerds.
- Just for fun. Friend games don't affect coins or ranked rating, so nobody farms rewards and nobody worries about losing points.
Game modes for parties
Party rooms use the same three modes as 1v1 duels — see how to play for the full rules:
- Classic — one word, 6 guesses; fewest guesses wins, speed breaks ties.
- Hearts — three words with clues, 3 tries each and a pool of hearts. Tense and great for spectators.
- Open Book — everyone sees everyone's typing. Chaotic, loud and perfect for a group call.
Prefer drawing to typing? Draw & Guess is our Pictionary-style party mode: one player draws, everyone else guesses.
Ideas: where people use it
- Team-building and remote meetings — a five-minute icebreaker that works over any video call.
- Classrooms — spelling and vocabulary practice that students actually ask for. Themes like animals, food or jobs fit lessons nicely.
- Family game night — kids and grandparents on the same link, each on their own device.
- Streams and Discord servers — drop the link in chat and let viewers join the round.
Just two players?
Send a 1v1 duel invite instead: it opens a private duel the moment your friend clicks the link. Or press Quick duel to be matched with another player of similar skill in seconds.
