Draw & Guess — a free online drawing and guessing game
Pick a word, draw it, and watch the guesses roll in. The faster someone guesses, the more points you both get.

How Draw & Guess works
- Choose a word. When it's your turn you get three words — easy, medium and hard — and 12 seconds to pick one. Harder words are worth more.
- Draw it. You have 80 seconds. No letters or numbers — just pictures.
- Everyone else guesses in the chat. As time runs out, letters of the word are revealed one by one to help.
- Take turns. Every player draws twice per game; the highest total score wins.
Scoring
- Guessers earn up to 500 points for an instant guess, sliding down to 100 at the last second.
- The artist earns up to 400 points depending on how many players guessed the drawing.
- Close guesses get a private "so close!" hint, so a typo doesn't ruin your round.
Since the artist is paid only when people understand the drawing, clear and simple pictures win — not museum-quality art.
Drawing tools
The canvas is built to feel smooth on both a mouse and a touchscreen:
- A color palette plus a custom color picker, with your recent colors remembered;
- an eyedropper to grab any color already on the canvas;
- adjustable brush size and opacity, an eraser, undo and clear;
- live streaming — guessers see every stroke as you draw it.
Play with friends or with anyone
Press Draw & Guess to drop into the busiest public lobby, or create a private lobby and share its link with your group — up to 8 players. It's a great match for a video call, a classroom or a Discord server. If you'd rather type than draw, try a word-game room for up to 10 friends.
Tips for artists and guessers
- Start with the outline of the main object, then add one detail that makes it unique (a trunk for an elephant, steam for coffee).
- Use color as a clue. Yellow for the sun, blue for water, green for plants — it's faster than detail.
- Draw scenes for actions. For "swimming", draw waves and a person; for "birthday", a cake with candles.
- Guess broadly first. Type the category ("animal", "fruit") and related words — misses cost nothing.
A safe space
Every drawing and chat message can be reported in one tap. Reported players are reviewed, and inappropriate drawings are removed. Names and chat messages are filtered for offensive words.
